Yount Longhorns

Raising Texas Longhorns has become a great passion for our family.  We are trying very hard to breed some of the best cattle we can possibly afford.  We have researched bloodlines for the past several years and are still learning more everyday.  We are continually upgrading our herd and have acquired RB Radigan, a son of Roundup and Tin Cup.  We believe that he will produce a much higher quality of calves in 2007 than we have ever had before.    We are striving to have the complete package, and that is different in every breeder's eyes, but our priorities are in good horn growth, a nice trim body with a clean underline, we like color and a good disposition. 	ABOUT US: We have two little boys of our own and since the passing of my sister we now also have my niece and nephew - so life is busy and never boring here!  Eric and I both work full time so farm work is done in the evening and weekends.   We are located in southwest Missouri, about 45 minutes straight north of Joplin.  We are near two major highways, 43 and 71, just outside of the small rural town of Liberal.   This site will be a continual work in progress, so bear with me...I'm learning as I go.  Usually I have to really mess it up real good (at least twice!) before I figure out how to do it right.
We've MOVED! We're in the new house and love it - more pasture, more barns...what more could a girl want?
